There are situations in life where you are enticed by wealth or extravagance that is set before you. Desire can be a lure deliberately set for you by someone trying to manipulate you. Consider diligently the trap that is set before you before you accept an invitation. Just what exactly is the ruler or important person serving you at his dinner table? In other words, what's his agenda? Everything comes with a price. What is he expecting in return? Our attitude should be to give, not so much to receive. Jesus Christ didn't come to be serve, he came to serve. And that's the heart of a leader. You need to consider the end with the people you get involved with, just what is this going to cost me? Is it filling a need or a greed?
