When you are under spiritual attack, one of the tricks of the devil is to isolate you and fill you with loneliness or hopelessness. He may trick you into attempting suicide. Your proper response is to reach out to God. God is never absent any time you're in trouble. He is always present. We nee to keep our eyes on the hope of Christ's return. When someone dies, our comfort is in the resurrection when Jesus Christ returns. It will comfort us knowing that God is faithful to his promise to raise the dead one day.

Note: All scripture is from the King James Version unless otherwise noted. NIV indicates The New International Version, NKJV indicates the New King James Version, ASV means the American Standard Version, BBE means the Bible in Basic English, DBY means the Darby translation,  NAU means the American Standard Version, 1995 Edition, and NAB means the New American Bible translation.
