Jesus Christ was born to bring peace to the world. Why? Because we were at enmity with God. We were separated from God. We needed to make peace with God. And there was no way we were doing a good job at it. If we were doing anything, we were getting further away from God; ticking God off even more. The only way to make peace with God was through Jesus Christ. We have the peace of God spiritually when we get born again, and we can have peace one with another. We seek after those things which make for peace, and for those people that we can't have peace with, we just pray for them and avoid them.
