Spiritual misinformation can damage a believer's stand and can even affect his or her eternal life. It is imperative that we adhere to Biblical standards and rightly divide the Word of truth, not relying on mere traditions and opinions of men whether ours or others. Zeal without knowledge, is dangerous. The apostle Paul's zeal to kill Christians was motivated by his love for God, but the consequences were disastrous. It was based on misinformation. Zeal is commendable but should be based on rightly dividing the Word of God.
