In part 3, we see that this new covenant would be an unconditional covenant unlike the covenant of the law. In this session, we examine Romans chapter 10. Paul contrasts the righteousness of the law with the righteousness of the new covenant. Jesus Christ was the end of the law of righteousness. The new covenant delineated in Romans 10:9 had only two requirements. Confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and believing God raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus Christ was the end of the law to righteousness. Moses and the prophets warned that not listening to this prophet would be their destruction. Many people want to make up their own righteousness and don't want to submit themselves to the righteousness of God. However God made salvation simple and straightforward.
