Why do you forgive people? Not because they deserve it or not. That's not the point. You forgive people because you deserve peace. If you forgive someone, that person is not getting off the hook. God will deal with that person, and that's a comfort you can take. You do what you're supposed to do. Don't sentence yourself to a lifetime of torment. And you just can't bless people when you got that stuff living in your heart. You must also learn to forgive yourself. Just do the best you can with what you have to offer.
